The basic guidelines:
- no meat, no dairy Soy as a meat substitute.
- Eat fish once a week (mackerel, organic salmon, cod, herring, sea bass).
- Eat, soy yoghurt, goat cheese and sheep cheese.
- Eat legumes (beans, lentils, peas, soy) as much as you wish.
- Eat at least 400 gr vegetables (raw, steamed) (all varieties of cabbage, broccoli, red beetroot, fresh spinach leaves, watercress, purslane).
- Eat fruit: kiwi, pink grapefruit, berries, pineapple, lemon, melon. Banana can be eaten (but not too ripe, without brown spots). No grapes (too much sugar).
- Drink a smoothie, in which some of the recommended fruits and vegetables have been processed, on a daily base.
- Eat a handful of nuts on a daily base (no peanuts).
- Eat olive oil (3 – 4 tablespoons a day) + flaxseed oil (2 tablespoons a day).
- Eat wholemeal products: wholemeal bread, wholemeal pasta, quinoa, oatmeal, millet, buckwheat, whole-grain rice.
- Do not eat any refined carbohydrates (sugars); eat honey moderately, stevia, tagatose
- Do not eat sweeteners ( aspartame)
- Use salt moderately; season with garden herbs and Provencal herbs.
- Use a lot of turmeric and ginger.
- Drink a lot of green tea: 4-5 cups a day. Maximum 2 cups of coffee.
- Start the day with a freshly squeezed lemon juice in a glass of water (+ ginger): lemon stimulates the digestion and contains limonene which has an anti-cancer effect.
- Use sprout vegetables on a daily base (broccoli, alfalfa, leek, radish …)
